Holiday villa with two big terraces and a big planted garden
This holiday residence for four people is the right place for you if you value relaxing holidays with the peace and quiet of a pleasant, comfortable, detached house with a total living space of 120m² in an excellent condition, in the midst of a 1000m² plot with gardens and a lawn, in a quiet location, just 800 metres from the sea. It is between the harbour town of Corinth and the spa resort of Loutraki. The house is about 90km from Athens and Piraeus and is accessed along a well-developed motorway.
The house consists of a main apartment with two bedrooms with double beds, a travel cot, a big living and dining room with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle, and a shower room. All the windows and balcony doors are fitted with insect screens. Satellite TV (two TV sets, with German and Greek channels), a DVD/CD player, and wireless Internet access are available. Central heating, a fireplace and air conditioning units (including in two of the bedrooms, while the third has a fan) are also provided and the house can also be booked in winter.
The outdoor area has two big terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers. The garden is planted with trees, flower beds and a lawn. There is also an outdoor shower. A gas and a charcoal grill are available. 2-3 cars can be parked on site.
There is a German-speaking contact available for assistance. It is also possible to arrive by train from Athens.
Then local beach is child-friendly and is flatly shelved into the water. There is a supermarket for your shopping about 900 metres away. There are many restaurants and traditional tavernas of all price categories about 2.5km away in Corinth and about 3km away in Loutraki. Free tennis courts can be found nearby in Corinth and Loutraki. You can try bungee jumping at the canal, visit a spa resort with Europe’s biggest casino and a long beach promenade with many bars, tavernas, cafés and several discos and nightclubs, as well as the unique hydrotherapy centre in Loutraki a five-minute drive away.
It is a couple of minutes’ walk from the apartment to the Corinth Canal (Isthmus), which separates the mainland from the Peloponnese and connects the Corinthian Gulf with the Saronic Gulf. The old Corinth, with its famous ancient excavations, is about a 15-minute drive away. The old Corinth has great historical significance. It used to be one of the leading towns in Greece. The most important sight is the Apollo Temple on a little elevation. You should also visit Acrocorinth, the ruins of a town with interesting medieval fortification walls on a hill above the ancient Corinth. You can go on day trips to Athens, to the archaeological site at Epidauros (50km), Mykene (45km), Nafplion (65km), Sparta (140km) or old Olympia (215km), as well as many museums for unforgettable impressions of ancient Greek culture.
